Our programs

Everything here is free. If you need a meal, supplies, or a ride to get them, start with the Wednesday meal or call us. If you want to help, every program lists what it needs.

Wednesday Community Meal

When
Every Wednesday, 5:00 – 6:00 PM
Where
East Street Church, 128 N. East St., Winchester

A free hot meal every week. No sign-up, no questions, everyone welcome.

We serve an average of 628 people a month around shared tables at East Street Church. Meals are cooked and served by volunteers and paid for by donations and meal sponsors.

How to help: Sponsor a week, cook or serve, or bring paper goods.

Hygiene Closet

Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, feminine-care products, paper goods, and household cleaning supplies.

Basic essentials that food assistance does not cover. Items are free to anyone who needs them, no paperwork required.

How to help: Donate hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Laundry Day

also known as Compassionate Coins

Free laundry services for individuals and families.

We cover the cost of the machines and supply the detergent. Check the calendar for the next date and location.

How to help: Donate quarters, detergent, or a few hours to help run the day.

Hope in Action

Meal delivery, resource connection, and help finding specific household items.

Our outreach team delivers meals, connects people to local services, and helps locate the things a household is missing. Hope in Action also gives back through fundraisers, rummage sales, and community events that bring neighbors together.

How to help: Volunteer for outreach or delivery routes.

Reentry Support

also known as Packs of Love

A backpack of basic necessities for individuals leaving incarceration.

Each pack includes hygiene items, clothing, food, and Narcan, plus help navigating local resources so the first days back in the community start with what is needed.

How to help: Donate backpacks, new socks and underwear, or travel-size hygiene items.

Bless-Dress-Success

A free haircut, hygiene items, toiletries, and cleaning supplies for anyone in need.

A fresh start for a job interview, a court date, or simply a good day. Dates are announced on the calendar and on Facebook.

How to help: Barbers and stylists can donate a few hours.

Outreach & Delivery

Volunteers and community partners bring meals and supplies to people who cannot get to us.

Rural Randolph County means some neighbors have no ride. Delivery volunteers and partner organizations close that gap, and we respond with supplies when emergencies or disasters hit.

How to help: Drivers with a reliable vehicle are always needed.

Ready to help?

Give a few hours at any program, or drop off the supplies our neighbors need most.
